The little town of Westby, WI is known mostly for their dairy production. With a population of just over 2000, they produce some of the best cheese products in the world. This memorial was created to honor one of their fire chiefs who served in the position for 17 years. The monument is a mix of flagpoles, small bell tower, statue, and plaque. It sits in front of the Westby-Christiana Fire Department. The monument was dedicated by his family.
