This lake was originally known as Twin Lake, and it was small and shallow.
Since 1997 when many lakes were created from sloughs and other lakes were expanded, this lake almost tripled in surface area.
This lake and East 81 Lake are about 6 miles south of Arlington, South Dakota.
It has a nice walk-in boat launch on the southwest side of the lake and is used quite a bit for fishing, both summer and winter.
Inhabitant fish include bullheads, northern pike, crappie, walleye, and perch.
