Built in 1872 is a well preserved example of a 19th century mill and surrounding village that was built by the mill owners.

The Berkeley Mill broke with the tradition of using water power in the area to the more modern steam powered mill. Located at the edge of a marshy land, this location provided access to the Providence and Worcester RR.
