Drive down Highway 1 with this waymark on your inland side and park near where the creek cuts under the road. Take the trails uphill - you are in Garrapata State Park on the Rocky Ridge Trail. At about 1400 feet of elevation you come to Eric's Bench...

It occupies a rocky outcropping. From the bench you can see a broad sweep of the Pacific Ocean and Highway 1.

It's an incredible panoramic view

It's called Eric's Bench, but it's plaque is missing. I know it is dedicated to a volunteer that made these hiking trails possible, but I have no other information than that.
