It's a good idea to have mosquito repellent with you if you camp overnight, although a good breeze can help. The sunset was spectacular, and the unlit, undeveloped, free campground at Blue West has a beautiful dark sky. Sunrise over the huge lake is dramatic, but be prepared for the all-night clattering from a nearby drilling rig.
