"The remaining windows are smaller with the floral motif. It appears that they have been hand-painted, but the glass was not fired following painting as the larger windows were. It is possible that these windows were installed as plain colored-glass that was later painted with botanical scenes. We don’t know who the artists were, but there appear to be several painting styles. Several panels seem to depict seasons. These floral windows could be the artists’ way of converting the sanctuary into a symbolic Garden of Eden or Paradise."
