In 2013 Anderson Engineering of Minnesota was asked to survey the border of Fort McCoy, WI. This was an extensive task and this Drive Monument was one that was set for this survey.

Located on the South side of County Hwy B and the West side of Hwy 21 near their intersection, this disk was part of a survey to verify the boundary of Fort McCoy, Wisconsin with the surrounding communities. This disk is stamped "FORT MCCOY BONDARY SURVEY" "ANDERSON ENG. OF MN" "2013" with a cross in the middle. It is made of metal and has a witness post right next to it that reads "DO NOT DISTURB NEARBY FORT MCCOY BOUNDARY MARKER" The witness post is very visible from the road way. Park on the opposite side of BB to visit.
