Just off of County Hwy BB, on what was once an extension of an old Fort McCoy road, is this fine survey marker placed by the Monroe County Surveyor (at the time), William Jung in 1980. The disk itself is described as a Harrison Monument and has the words "Quarter Corner" etched. There is a very nice witness post right next to it which reads "Do not disturb nearby Fort McCoy Boundary Marker". The data sheet information is from the Monroe County Surveyors Office (Found on the Wisconsin PLSS system).
