The East window is behind the altar. An information card gives the date of the window as 1915, the gift by Mr. C W Bartholomew in memory of his father. Set in the South wall is a window in memory of Canon Sorby who was rector in the church for 42 years, also known as The Sorby Window, 1938. He took action to allow children whom attended Ascension Day Service to have the rest of the day free from school, known as the Darfield Judgement. Link to Barnsley Chronicle article-
