"Jarboe Park in Neptune Beach - Garden started 18 months ago by the Ish Brant Beautification Committee, a group of citizens who volunteer to enhance the image of the city, according to committee member JoAnne Waddill.

The garden was funded by the committee, which supplies labor and donated many of the plants. Private businesses provided flowers, and the city donated the land, a water faucet, mulch and flat rocks. The garden was designed by Jacksonville landscaper Ron Davis."

Within the butterfly garden are two beautifully painted benches. One bench is painted a cheery light blue and has different colored butterflies flying around on it. There are also three large flowers painted on the bench. The artist's name on the bench is Savannah C. The other bench is painted a deep pink and has a swarm of honeybees flying around on it. There is a large yellow flower in the upper left corner of the back portion of the bench. The artist's name on the bench is also Savannah C.
