EN: This monument is located on the eastern edge of the city park of Olten. It is a rudimentarily carved figure of a medieval warrior from a large rock. The only inscription are the years "1939 - 1945" on the backside.
The monument was created around 1944-45 by Jakob Probst and inaugurated in 1955 in the city park of Olten by General Guisan.
DE: Dieses Denkmal befindet sich am östlichen Rand des Stadtparks von Olten. Es ist eine nur rudimentär aus einem grossen Steinblock gehauene Gestalt eines mittelalterlichen Kriegers. Die einzige Inschrift sind die Zahlen "1939 - 1945" auf der Rückseite.
Das Denkmal wurde um 1944/45 von Jakob Probst geschaffen und 1955 von General Guisan auf dem Stadtpark von Olten eingeweiht.
