This fine four tiered fountain is located outside of the historic, Carnegie built, Sparta Free Library. It's a gathering location for many Sparta residence and serves as a great place to take a break after biking on the local trail. Not much is known as to when this fountain was built, but local lore has that this fountain was built to detract people from throwing coins in the nearby Beaver Creek as a wishing fountain.
