On the east side of the Pontotoc County Courthouse, is a large war memorial, honoring those who fought in various wars over the years.

This monument sits on a concrete pad in the grassy area of the courthouse grounds. It consists of a granite picnic table, with two granite benches. On the front of one of the benches is this memorial:

"In memory of those of the 450th B.G. who gave their lives. Donated by Bob & Betty Plummer"
