This monument includes the full text of the Ten Commandments as found in the bible. The monument also includes small tablets for Hebrew inscriptions, Stars of David, an Eagle and other symbols. It is noted that the monument was presented to Pleasant Grove City and Utah County by The Fraternal Order of Eagles in 1971. There is a large metal plaque posted next to the monument explaining the historical significance of the Ten Commandments as well as an expression of gratitude to the Eagles.
