Campground at Kilen Woods State Park.
32 drive-in sites are available. Four have a pull-through. One site is designated as handicapped-accessible. About a third of the sites in this campground have electric hookup.
There are also four walk-in sites, 120 to 450 feet from the parking area.
All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Drinking water is available in five places in the main campground. A building with handicapped-accessible modern restrooms and showers is available for campers. There is also a latrine near the parking area for the walk-in sites.
You could get a smaller RV, popup camper, or two tents in most sites, and some sites can handle bigger RVs. Sites on the A loop are generally not well-shaded, but do offer privacy, and are roomy and level. Sites on the north side of the B loop are shaded but not very level.
The rate is $19 per night. Add $8 for sites with electric hookup.
You will also need a state park vehicle permit. Good at any Minnesota state park, vehicle permits cost $7 per day or $35 for a year.
