EN: The railway station of Rupperswil is located in the village center. The station building is a long one-story commercial building with a super structure on the flat roof. It probably dates from the 1960s or 1970s. Before that, there must have been a preceding station, because it was opened already in 1858. It was on the line of Nordostbahn between Brugg and Aarau. In 1874 an additional line to Lenzburg opened, managed by Aargau Southern Railway, which was connected to the Gotthard line until 1882. In 1902 the two companies were integrated into the SBB.

Rupperswil is located on one of the busiest rail routes in Switzerland. The track is four lanes to the west, east of Rupperswil two lanes lead to Brugg and two to Lenzburg. The station is a stop on the Aargauer S-Bahn lines S23, S26 and S29, and the S3 of S-Bahn Zürich. All these trains operate at least once an hour. Besides the Rupperswil station is also connected with Lenzburg by the bus line 394.

DE: Der Bahnhof von Rupperswil befindet sich mitten im Dorf. Das Stationsgebäude ist ein langer einstöckiger Zweckbau mit einem Aufbau auf dem Flachdach. Er stammt vermutlich aus den 1960er oder 1970er Jahren. Davor muss es schon eine anderen Bahnhof gegeben haben, den die Station wurde schon 1858 eröffnet. Sie lag an der Linie der Nordostbahn zwischen Brugg und Aarau. 1874 wurde von der Aargauischen Südbahn zusätzlich eine Linie nach Lenzburg eröffnet, die bis 1882 mit der Gotthardlinie verbunden wurde. 1902 wurden die beiden Gesellschaften in die SBB integriert.

Rupperswil liegt an einer der meistbefahrenen Bahnstrecken der Schweiz. Die Strecke ist gegen Westen vierspurig, östlich von Rupperswil gehen zwei Spuren gegen Brugg und zwei nach Lenzburg. Der Bahnhof ist eine Haltestelle der Aargauer S-Bahnlinien S23, S26 und S29, sowie der S3 der Zürcher S-Bahn. Alle diese Züge verkehren mindesten einmal stündlich. Daneben ist der Bahnhof Rupperswil noch mit der Buslinie 394 mit Lenzburg verbunden.
