Brush 970 is used for off road brush/woodland fires. It is built on a surplus M54 military cargo truck chassis.

The truck carries an assortment of handtools for fire suppression use or for creating fire breaks. Reel lines augment hand lines for use in fire fighting. It carries 500 gallons of water. Thanks to two of Cordova's fine volunteers for the tour of the station and equipment.
