The plaque says, "This grove of London Plane trees looking out toward the site of the World Trade Center is dedicated in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001 and to those who lost their lives that day.
The planting of these trees in this memorial grove was made possible, in par, by a generous donation of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States"
