San Diego Wild Animal Park is a companion animal park to the San Diego Zoo. The animals in the park are given large enclosures to roam in. It was started as a location to reproduct captive endangered species.

San Diego Wild Animal Park is great location to see a variety of animals roaming in large enclosures. The main attaction is a 45 min tram ride around huge enclosures that are hard to see any other way. There is a separate parking fee.
The park has a variety of other activities including summer sleep overs next to the animal enclosures, summer night events, and holiday lights.
