Codorus State Park surrounds Lake Marburg which was created when Cordorus Creek was dammed in 1966 to provide drinking water to the surrounding community and to serve the water needs of the Glatfelter Paper company.
The scenery is beautiful and there us much to be viewed - hills, forests, boaters on the lake and wildlife.
