The 170-acre CCC Lake and Park (also known as Perry Lake Park), was constructed in 1934-1935 by the CCC. It features a 20-acre lake, walking trails, and beautiful examples of Depression-era stone construction. Examples are the stone Gatehouse at the entrance, the Boathouse, Picnic Pavilion and several arch bridges.
The park features covered picnic areas, gazebos, a boat dock, grills and a playground. Also available are an amphitheater and rustic kitchen, as well as opportunities for boating and fishing. An RV park is located on the south side of the lake.
The area around the lake is wooded and hilly and is beautiful.
