The
Joplin Regional Airport is a small airport with 3 runways. Two of the runways are large enough to
accommodate jets as large as the Boeing 737 and 717 and the Airbus A320 series. It fills the gap for those not able or wanting to go to the further away airports in Springfield or Bentonville, AR.
The layout of the terminal is very simple. No need for people movers here! There are two car rental companies at the terminal. Though located at the small town of Carl Junction, the airport is owned and maintained by the city of Joplin. The coordinates of this waymark are at the terminal building's entrance.
