Made of bronze the bench is placed right by the main entrance to the Kaubisch Memorial Public Library on Perry St.
Sitting on the bench is a young girl reading a Dr. Seuss story book to a cat which is a very good listener.
The bench is a gift to the Kaubisch Memorial Library in honor of David and Jeanne Spellerberg. It was dedicated on Mother's Day in 2007.
There is enough room for you to sit by the little girl and just let your imagination take you into Dr. Seuss story.
