A plaque affixed to each of four benches under the tabernacle in historic Old Hall Cemetery notes that they were the focus of a 2004 Eagle Scout service project carried out by Mark Wernette.

Each bench has a bronze plaque on it, with "M. Wernette T-123" and "Eagle Project 2004" underneath each individual dedication:

North: In Loving Memory of Jim Black For a Life Well Lived

South: In Loving Memory of Jimmy, Linda, David, and Porter Feagins

East: In Memory of the Families That We Have Served. Dalton & Son Funeral Home

West: In Loving Memory of Our Parents J.O. and Mattiebelle Bush

One can assume that general cemetery improvement was also part of the project.
