The landmark at the foot of "Friedrich Ebert Brücke" is one of seven stones (east of the Rhine) that mark the former territory of the "Fischerei-Bruderschaft zu Bergheim an der Sieg". It is a sandstone block, which documents the Bergheimer fishing righteousness on the right bank of the Rhine. It was built as part of a border survey of the fishing fraternity in 1968. The coat of arms on the front was stolen.
Inscription on the front: GRENZE IM RHEIN / DES FISCHEREIPRIVILEGS AN DER UNTEREN SIEG / FISCHEREI-BRUDERSCHAFT ZU BERGHEIM AN DER SIEG
Inscription on the side: IN DEM RHEIN SO WEIDT MAN MIT EINEM ROSZ REITEN KANN UND MIT EINEM HAMMNETZ SZTEICHEN KANN / NOTARIATS URKUNDE VOM MONTAG NACH DREIKÖNIGE / 12 JANUAR 1593
