In Buckland, near the Iron Truss Bridge, is the Odd Fellows Building.
The building is located on the west side of State Street, and very near the Buckland Town Hall.
The building is a squarish structure with three floors. The clapboarding is painted a dull yellow with red and green trim. At the top is a flag pole. The first floor is occupied by a market.
From the nomination form for the Shelburne Falls National Historic District (of which it is part):
"...on State Street, was erected In 1877. The three-story, two-bay-by-flve-bays, clapboard commercial structure has a flat roof wlth a parapet atop the dentllated wood cornlce. Thlrd-floor palladian wlndows probably were added following a flre In 1695. The bulldlng retains ~ts early storefronts and has a permanent canopy wlth lntrlcately carved supports. "
A Wikipedia article about the building stated that the building replaced an earlier Odd Fellows building that burned down. The building was used by the Odd Fellows until 1962. Some decorative features are still on the third floor.
