Mr. Bahrampour's headstone is in a newer section of this historic cemetery, near the back. It is made of gray, granite, with a nine-pointed star that has a circle inside of it. The star is a symbol of the Bahá'í Faith, and there are other practitioners of that faith buried in this section. Mr. Bahrampour's personal dates flank the star, and the inscription is below it, including a Bahá'í prayer:

Jan. 1,
1904

Aug. 16,
2004

Azizullah Bahrampour
"Oh God, My God, My Beloved
My Heart's Desire"

Significant events in Mr. Bahrampour's lifetime include:

1904 - Cy Young of the Boston Americans throws baseball's first perfect game in the modern era.
1914 - In Ludlow, CO, the Colorado National Guard attacks a tent camp of striking workers, killing twenty-four people.

1974 - Ronald DeFeo, Jr., murders his entire family in their home in Amityville on Long Island. Hollywood makes a few movies about it and the alleged ghosts in the house.
1984 - Motown legend, Marvin Gaye, is shot to death by his father.

2004 - Guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott is murdered onstage while performing with his band, Damageplan.
