The Warburger Tunnel is 33 m long and is situated directly near the B7 federal road in the City of Warburg. It is build in 1888.

The railway Warburg-Sarnau is a 100.9 km long, single-track railway branch line in North Hesse. The middle section Korbach-Frankenberg (Eder) is called "Lower Edertal train" or "National Park train" and the southern sector Frankenberg (Eder) -Sarnau (-Marburg (Lahn)) "Burgwald Railway".

Between Warburg and Volkmarsen is the track which named "Twistetalbahn" degraded; since the reactivation of the section between Korbach and Frankenberg South on 11 September 2015 is a continuous train of Marburg (Lahn) to Bestwig or Brilon city (from Korbach Upland Bahn.

This part is used since degrading as hiking and bike path.
