Chimney is the remnant of a 1920's-era Girl Scout cabin, named "Betsy Ross", one of several such cabins that used to dot the hillside here.
No records of its demolition exist, however the chimney and foundation stand as mute testimony to earlier times.
Chimney is accessible by following the Red Path/trail in the park.
