Draw well is located on the grounds of the Carter House in Franklin. This was one of the main sites of the Battle of Franklin during the Civil War.

The house and grounds are all part of The Battle of Franklin Trust. The park is open Mon-Sat 9AM to 5 PM and on Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM.
