Sringer Cemetery lies on the eastern edge of Springer, at the intersection of Church Avenue and Black Street. There is no cemetery sign that we found. This is a well kept cemetery with approximately 678 burials. The land is flat and there are several large trees in the area. There are no internal driveways in the cemetery.

Burials go back to the late 1800's, and the cemetery is still in use today. There are a large number of Woodmen of the World headstones in this cemetery.

NOTE: When visiting Springer, be sure to take a few minutes to visit the unusual Magnetic Hill. Take Exit 43 off Interstate 35, and drive west on Highway 53 approximately 1.5 miles. Turn north on Pioneer Road 3/4 mile and park at the "bottom" of the hill on this rural road. Put your vehicle in neutral, let off the brake, and experience your vehicle rolling backward "up" the hill. It is also interesting to exit your vehicle and feel the slightly off-balance phenomena that causes you to feel a little weird. (visit link)
