On September 11, 2001 two hijacked planes bound for California hit the north and south towers of the World Trade Center, claiming the lives of nearly three thousand heros. Today, the National September 11 Memorial stands in the tower's footprints.

This memorial consistes of two pools, where the twin towers once stood 15 years ago. Also a museum is under construction and there are two gift shops and donation sites. This is a place for remembrance so please be respectful. You do need to get screened though security and have tickets which you can order online or onsite. I did mine on line, which gets you out of the large line before entry. Here on September 11, 2001 the United States of America's largest and deadliest terrorist attack. We all remember that fateful day. Where were you on that day?
