EN: This stone cross stands at the junction of the roads to Gempen and Hochwald in a residential area in the south east of Dornach at the edge of a private property.
The cross is made of white stone and something over three meters high. It carries a bronze statue and is dated 1852 on the side beams with golden digits.
The cross is in good condition and looks like recently cleaned. However, it stands extraordinarily askew.
DE: Dieses Steinkreuz steht an der Verzweigung der Strassen nach Gempen und Hochwald in einem Wohngebiet im Südosten von Dornach am Rand eines Privatgrundstücks.
Das Kreuz ist aus hellem Stein und etwas über drei Meter hoch. Es tragt eine Bronze statue und ist an den Querbalken mit vergoldeten Ziffern auf 1852 datiert.
Das Kreuz ist in einem guten Zustand und sieht aus wie kürzlich gereinigt. Allerdings steht es aussergewöhnlich schief.
