Along the Gold Lake Road between historic Bassetts Station and the town of Graeagle. About 80 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail pass through Plumas County. Tahoe National Forest is south; Lassen is north.
The Lake Basin area is a favored recreational area for camping, bicycling, horseback, and hiking.

There are a number of day use trails in the Lake Basin area, a geat waterfall, and a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail (hiking enduro) pass through the Plumas NF. It is steep country and high elevation (averaging 4,000 to 6,000 ft. Most trails are not accessible during winter or spring.

Fishing lakes, boating, horseback trail rides, OHV, and snow.

all of the above.

fire permits; campground use fee areas - $10 -24/night plus reservation fees. fire permits, woodcutting, OHV,check at the www. or ranger station for info. FIREWORKS are orohibited on the National Forest!
