Created in 1905 in memory of the soldiers who fought in the Civil War is a monument located at Pine Grove Park in Port Huron, Michigan. The memorial honors the men of the Port Huron area who served during this war. Inscribed on the monument is the words “This memorial is dedicated to honor those of this community who served in time of war and to perpetuate the memory of all those who made the supreme sacrifice for God and their country.”
