The Altamont Corridor Express is a passenger train line, connection Stockton, CA with San Jose, CA. It is used mainly by commuters on their way to and from the Silicon Valley.

The Lathrop/Manteca Station is located at the eastern edge of Lathrop, right at the border to Manteca, serving both cities.

The line was established in 1998. About 3,700 people use the four trains commuting every day.
