EN: The Church of Ifenthal is located a few hundred meters west of the hamlet, on the road to Hauenstein. The single nave church has a polygonal chancel and two lateral extensions. The steeple is integrated into the floor plan of the nave.
The church dates back to a chapel that had been donated by the Lords of Ifenthal somewhen between 1250 and 1263. In 1674, the church was built and became the parish church of the villages Hauenstein, Ifenthal and Wisen that had previously belonged to the parish Trimbach.
In 1935, the church was rebuilt and got its present shape.
DE: Die Kirche von Ifenthal liegt einige hundert Meter westlich des Weilers an der Strasse nach Hauenstein. Die einschiffige Kirche hat einen polygonalen Chorabschluss und zwei seitliche Anbauten. Der Kirchturm ist in den Grundriss des Langhauses integriert.
Die Kirche geht auf eine Kapelle zurück, die von den Herren von Ifenthal zwischen 1250 und 1263 gestiftet hatten. 1674 wurde die Kirche gebaut und zur Pfarrkirche der Dörfer Hauenstein, Ifenthal und Wisen, die zuvor zur Pfarrei Trimbach gehört hatten.
1935 wurde die Kirche umgebaut und erhielt ihre heutige Gestalt.
