"Für die Reparatur der Glocken werden noch einmal 4000 Euro benötigt.
Die ältere der beiden in der Kapelle hängenden Glocken stammt aus dem Jahr 1472. Die Bronzeglocke hat einen Durchmesser von 41 Zentimetern. Sie trägt in gotischen Buchstaben die Inschrift: „Maria MCCCCLXXII (1472)“. Darunter befindet eine kleine Relieffigur von St. Urbanus. Die zweite Glocke wurde im Jahr 1727 gegossen. Sie hat einen Durchmesser von 56 Zentimetern und trägt die Inschrift: „Dem dreyeinigen Gott, der aller selisder Jungfraw Maria und h. Urbano zu Ehren bin ich von M(eister) Peter und Engelberto Fuchs gegossen worden. 1727“"

"Mit viel Eigenleistung der Oevericher und Niedericher Bürger wurde die Oevericher Kapelle in den Jahren 1933 bis 1936 erbaut. Der damalige Pastor Josef Knopp weihte das Gotteshaus an Pfingsten 1936 feierlich ein. Die Kapelle "bietet heute mit ihrem schmucken Raum im Untergeschoss, ihrem neuen Dach, dem frischen Anstrich, den renovierten Türen und einer gepflegten Außenanlage einen schönen Anblick und wird gern zu Hochzeiten genutzt."[1]"
