Made from shrubs the large letters are located on the grounds of the St. Bonaventure University in Allegany.
They are placed on a light slope at the end of an expansive front lawn which has been cited as the largest front lawn in America. The University chapel is right behind the emplacement of the letters which can be seen from the main road.
Even in the winter months you can see the letters under the snow.
