På øverste stokværk, kanondækket, ses forskellige former for artilleri.
Øvrige etager viser Fladstrands (tidligere navn for Frederikshavn) og havnens historie.
Citadellet Fladstrand var støttepunkt for den danske flåde under Store Nordiske Krig (1709-1720) og Englandskrigen (1807-1814).
Åbningstider i Krudttårnet 2016:
I perioden 1. juli – 12. august er der åbent fra kl. 11.00-15.00 hver dag.
Martello tower built in 1686-1690. The top floor (cannon deck) houses a range of artillery. The lower floors have exhibitions of the history of Fladstrand (former name of Frederikshav) and the harbour. Citadel Fladstrand was used as a base by the Danish Navy during the Great Northern War (1709-20) and the war against Great Britain (1807-14).
Opening hours for the tower in 2016:
1'st July-12'th of August: 11 AM - 3 PM every day.
