An octagonal font with blank tracery on the stem, shields in quatrefoils on the bowl and leaf carvings to angles of the underside of the bowl.
"The church is dedicated to the 6th century Bishop of Rheims, St Remigius.
The origins of the church trace back to Norman times but it's main structual period lies in the 14th century. In 1890 the restoration required was so dramatic that the decision was taken to demolish the entire church and rebuild to a new design. However, due to the intervention of the Bishop of Peterborough, the Right Reverend Dr Creighton, the building was restored at the great cost of £3,000."
