Cabrillo National Monument is located on a peninsula called Point Loma with San Diego Bay on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. These binoculars, costing 50 cents, are set on an overlook where one might catch a view of migrating gray whales. There are several signs about the whales nearby, a whale mural, a whale sculpture, etc.
