Randolph, Ohio was settled on March 31, 1802 by Bela Hubbard and Salmon Ward. He is buried in the Cemetery along with other family members. The first interment was Mary Ward, wife of Josiah Ward who came to Randolph in 1803. In 1804 she was walking around the area and said it would be a nice place for a burying ground. I included a photo of her grave in the gallery. There is also a Revolutionary War veteran buried here.
The Cemetery is maintained by Randolph Township and The Randolph Ladies Cemetery Association, who pick a local Cemetery each year and clean around Headstones and plant flowers. They are in the process of leveling and standing up fallen markers. It is one of the cleanest cemeteries around.
