This 10' high by 30' long mural has been created by members of The Performance Project, a program for young artist ages 14-21 to enable them to enhance their skills and create large scale public art for the City of Springfield, and sponsored by the Center for Human Development.
The central feature is the word HEALING in stylized letters. Each letter is being held up groups of people. The background features famous Springfield landmarks including the Hippodrome Theater, the Basketball Hall of Fame light tower, and the Campanile. the center structure of Civic Group of buildings.
