Gabby is standing looking for the train that will come and take her to boarding school for the new term. She is in school uniform with straw hat and beside her is her suitcase.
This is one of a series of quirky long-legged sculptures which paid tribute to the strong connection between the workers, family and friends of the Midland Railway Workshop which closed in 1994.
