Built in 1926, Devereux Hall was designed by the architectural firm of Oakley and Schalmo in the ¨Italian Transitional¨ style typical of Franciscan monastories in the 16th century.
The building is noted for its style and decoration. Its facade is adorned by dozens of terra cotta plaques honoring religious, educational and geographic themes.
A long stretch of sculpted and painted flowers and leaves can be seen on the facade just below the roof.
