This is one of several mosaic pieces scattered throughout this Conservation Area,..however this one is circular whereas most of the others are rectangular.
This one depicts a a multi-colored sea turtle. Underneath is a small metallic piece reading "PLEASE HELP US PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE BATIQUITOS LAGOON".
The mosaic is made with polished pebbles in cement set on a low bench.
There is no information at the site about the artist, title or date.
