Long Description:
In the mid-morning on May 8, 2015 (Mother's Day), an ornate box turtle (Terrapene ornata) was crossing to the south side of George Foster Road near U.S. 380. I stopped and helped the turtle to the other side and snapped its beautiful reticulated shell.
