An inscription on the back of a Ten Commandments monument on the grounds of the historic Marshall County Courthouse indicates that the monument was placed in memory of Noel Clement.

The inscription can be difficult to see, near the base, but it simply says "In Memory of Noel Clement". The monument is near the south entrance, and on the front is the text which is familiar to many, following the King James:
1 - Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
3 - Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord God in vain.
4 - Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5 - Honor thy father and mother.
6 - Thou shalt not kill.
7 - Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8 - Thou shalt not steal.
9 - Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10 - Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house.

The Marshall County Courthouse is the center of the town square, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Built in 1914, its architect was Jewell Hicks, who also designed the Oklahoma state capitol building.
