300-meter long boardwalk completed in 2012, that travels along the 1700's-era shoreline of Lake Ontario.
The raised-platform boardwalk is a pedestrian-only boardwalk located between Ontario and Hibernia Streets in Cobourg, with boardwalk access points at several intervening streets. There is a large eco-garden near the eastern access point. The present-day coastline is about 200 meters to the south. The shore is increasing by about a meter a year.
This is a very popular area, especially in summer, so parking is at a premium.
